Did Paul teach that the law is abolished?
Did the law end when Christ Jesus came to earth?
Torah is Scripture.
It is the Hebrew word translated "Law."
The “Book of the Law” refers to the covenant laws that God made with His people during the time of Moses.
What is this word "gospel"?
What does the word "gospel" actually mean?
It is the Greek word G2097 "
to announce good news ("evangelize")
The meaning: Basically, "good news."
So what is the good news?
Jesus is our foundation:
If He is not our foundation,
Then something else is going to take His place.
The Law is the way through which we realize we need a Savior, but it is not what causes us to be a holy temple.
No one act of obedience to the law or commandment that you have kept can justify you from your wrong doing.
Our faith in Jesus must include repentance from all died works and sin.
This is an elementary principle.
So why was the law add?
Our foundation is in Christ Jesus, but in order to receive Jesus, we must repent from dead works.
We must turn away from them, and turn from all sin.
We must go on to Perfection
Stop sinning
That is
Walking in the flesh
There are two things required to have salvation or we should say
three things so we don’t get confused:
Repentance,
Faith in the Lord Jesus,
Faith is trusting and obeying,
Trusting and obeying Jesus
Jesus is not a "Get out of Hell Free card" that you hand in at the pearly gates.
It doesn't work that way.
We have to repent.
We have to walk in repentances
Repentances is not just a one time thing
Repentance and faith in Jesus:
This is what we need to build on:
Faith that produces obedience in Jesus that cleanses us from sin
As obedient children
Repentant
We can't walk in the works of the flesh
not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts
Any person that don’t stay in the teaching of Jesus
are under a curse, because they do not have the correct foundation.
If we receive and walk out the wrong good news, we will have a worthless and cursed foundation.
What is the curse?
God is against them that:
Stealing my words from each other
Mislead God's people with their lies and false teachings
cause my people to err
their lightness
Jesus fulfilled the law:
The law has been changed
A disannulling of the commandment
The carnal commandments
So what has been changed, been disannulled?
What are God’s moral commandments?
If we Love one another we will keep God’s moral law:
Thou shalt not commit adultery,
Thou shalt not kill,
Thou shalt not steal,
Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Thou shalt not covet;
and if there be any other commandment,
