In this study we are
looking at what bible translation is the best to use.
We will be comparing the different translations
and Manuscripts. We will be looking at KJV,
NIV, RSV, NASV, NRSV, Geneva Bible, New International
Version, Revised Standard Version, Greek manuscripts,
Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus exc.
If you take a quick comparison of the Bible translations you will see that they are really not the same. Some leave out entire verses, others disagree on whether Jesus should be called God's servant or God's Son. This teaching will examine different bible translations. All translations are translated from primarily only two different texts. We will compare the different translations and Manuscripts.
But how do you choosing the right bible translation, decide which one is correct?
