(1 Cor 13:9 KJV)
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

We read in John 3:34 that God gave Jesus the Spirit without measure, For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

In other words we can look at it like this Jesus had 100% of the pie.
We each only have a peace of the pie   and when we the body of Christ come together, the pie comes together.

1 Cor 12:18   But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.    And God goes on to say in 1 Cor 12:25   That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

God said there is to be unity in the body
and no schism or division.

1 Corinthians 3:1-4    And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

Let’s interpret this in modern day talk; starting with v.4,

For while one saith, I am a Baptist; and another, I am a Methodists; and another, I am a Pentecostal; and another, I am a Catholic; and another, I am a Presbyterian; are ye not carnal?

God said you are CARNAL and walk as men. That is you are not walking as children of God; spiritual, you are walking in the fleshly appetites, worldly and earthly.

God said there is one church the body of Christ, yes there are local churches that go by different names “denominations”. But we are not to be identified by a denomination and their belief system, "For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?"

We are identified in Christ

If we look at the greetings given in the epistles we see Paul, Timothy, and James all identified as Servants of God or Servants of Jesus Christ. We are Servants, we are Disciples. We see in Acts 11:26 that the Disciples Were Called Christians, “Christ like”.

The dictionary defines a disciple as, "Someone who follows another person or another way of life and who submits himself to the discipline (teaching) of that leader or way.

Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

If we would realize that we only see in part, that we each only have a peace of the pie and not the whole pie. Just because one denomination interprets the Word differently dos not make them a wolf in sheep's clothing. We each need to realize that we only know in part and we need to be willing to follow Jesus, be His disciple, not a denomination or some other system of belief.

Matthew 15:8-9 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

There are wolves in sheep’s clothing out there, but a wolf has a different character. Than someone that is deceived or misguided in their understanding of the Word of God. We all need to be humble and teachable. If you find someone that thinks they have it 100% correct, you better run the other way. If you see any teachings on this site that are not right email us the truth and if we see it the way you do we will change it. As we grow in the Lord and get more revelations on different teaching we have and do modify our teachings.

I do believe that there is only one interpretation of the Word and that we need to search the scripture to see if what we are taught is so.

2 Pet 1:20  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

Acts 17:11  These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Mat 7:15, 16  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Mark 9:35-40 And he sat down , and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all. And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them, Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me. And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. For he that is not against us is on our part.

John 13:34, 35  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
