1 Cor 2:1 – 14 And I, brethren, when I came to you,
came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom,
declaring unto you the testimony of God.
The message of the gospel
should be simple and transparent, not with difficult
speech; words, but in plan simple words and open;
clear, statement of truth.
1 Tim
3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of
godliness: God was manifest in the
flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world,
received up into glory.
v.9-10
But as it
is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered
into the heart of man, the things which God hath
prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them
unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things,
yea, the deep things of God.
The church; God’s people, knows
the mystery of God. The Holy Ghost, who is the Holy
Spirit teacheth us; reviles to us, the Word of God. This
understanding is foolishness to the world, for God’s
truths are not naturally reviled. One can not understand
God’s Word throw their natural senses or their soul;
mind, will and emotions. The truths of God are only
reviled to man’s spirit, by the Holy Spirit. The Holy
Spirit teacheth your spirit by comparing spiritual
things with spiritual things; that is He compares God’s
Word with God’s Word. The Holy Spirit rightly divides
the Word of God, He make it clear to you, comparing
scripture with scripture.
Eph 1:9 –
14 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good
pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times
he might gather together in one all things in Christ,
both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even
in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated
according to the purpose of him who worketh all things
after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of
his glory, who
first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also
trusted, after that ye heard
the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that
ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of
promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until
the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the
praise of his glory.
Isa
6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people,
Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive
not.
Mat 13:14 –
16 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of
Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and
shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and
shall not perceive: For this people's
heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of
hearing, and their eyes they have
closed; lest at any time they should see with
their eyes and hear with their
ears, and
should understand with their heart, and should be
converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are
your eyes, for they
see: and your ears, for they hear.
The
Mysteries
of the Kingdom
Mat
13:11,12
He
answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto
you to know the
mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to
them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to
him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance:
but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away
even that he hath.
The word mystery means previously hidden truth, now revealed. The teachings of Jesus are available to all, but not everyone will understand.
Why is this so?
Mat 13:15
For this people's heart is waxed gross,
and their ears are dull of hearing, and
their eyes
they have closed; lest at
any time they should see with their eyes, and hear
with their ears, and should understand with their
heart, and should be converted, and I should heal
them.
This is a
quote from Isa 6:10 and in Isa 29:10-13 it
is explained more fully why they were not able
hear or see.
Isa 29:10-13 For the LORD hath poured
out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed
your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers
hath he covered. And the vision of all is become
unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which
men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this,
I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is
sealed: And the book is delivered to him
that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee:
and he saith, I am not learned. Wherefore the
Lord said, Forasmuch
as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with
their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far
from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept
of men:
So we can see, as it
was in the days of Isaiah, so it was in the times
of Jesus and sadly to say it is also true
today. People have closed their eyes and ears they have
removed their hearts from God and are taught doctrines
of men.
Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship
me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Unless we are
really open to hear and see the truth, the truth
will be hidden from our eyes and our ears and our
hearts. God will not force us to understand the
truth; we have to want to understand. We have to
get rid of all of our opinions we have formed beforehand
and listen with our spiritual ears and look with our
spiritual eyes. Then and only then will you be able to
see the truth of the Word of God. The Holy Spirit will
teach us the truth, then we can bring in what we think
or been taught my man and see how it lines up with the
truth of the Word.
SPIRITUAL VISION 20/20
(Mark 4:9 KJV)
And he said unto them, He
that hath ears to hear, let him hear. (Mark 4:12
KJV)
That seeing they may see, and not
perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; "to put
together" lest at any time they
should be converted, and their sins should
be forgiven them. 1 Corinthians
2:10 But
God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:
for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea,
the deep things of God. |
