(Rev 5:5,6 KJV)
And
one of the elders saith unto me,Weep not:
behold, the Lion of
the tribe of Juda, the
Root
of David, hath prevailed to open
the book, and
to loose the seven seals thereof.
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of
the throne and of the four beasts, and in the
midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had
been slain, having seven horns and seven
eyes, which are the seven Spirits of
God sent forth into all the
earth.
(Zec 3:9 KJV)
For
behold
the stone
that I have laid before Joshua; upon one
stone shall be seven eyes:
behold, I will engrave the graving
thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I
will remove the iniquity of that land in
one day.
(Isa
11:1,
2 KJV)
And
there
shall come forth a rod out of the
stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his
roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
Before we look
at the seals, we need to understand that
the book of Revelation is written in a
sequence of pitchers that they lay on
top of each other. It is like a move, in
a move you see one seen that may be 10
minutes long or longer then it goes to a
another seen, that is taking place at
the same time. The book of Revelation is
just like that. We see different seen,
pitchers, of a period of time. We
see the tribulation parred, a time
of 7 years, it is divided into two
3½ years parred. Some of the
pitchers in the book of Revelation, is
the seals, the trumpets, the vials, and
the two witnesses.
The seals start at the beginning of the
7 years and show up at different times
throw it, for their roll.
The seven seals of
Revelation, the first 4 are called the
four horse men. They are normally
identify as; white as the Antichrist, red as war, black as famine, and pale
as death. Thou
normal only the first one is identify by
it's color and the rider and what he is
carrying. The other three are identify
by there colors and what they are
carrying. We will be looking at them by
there colors and there riders and what
they are carrying. Seeing that the seals
are the characters in the time of the
tribulation.
Seal one the
white horse its rider is the Antichrist,
also called the beast, and he starts the
tribulation period by "confirming the
covenant Dan 9:27" and we see in "Rev
6:2 a white
horse: and he
that sat on him had a bow; and a
crown was given unto him: and he went
forth conquering, and to conquer."
The Antichrist is a man of war, in
this passage he has a bow but no
arrows yet, and we read in "Dan 11:21,
24 he
shall come in
peaceably" the
Antichrist the rider of the white
horse does his war at first with
peace. For the first 3½ years
it is a time of false peace for we
read in "1 Th 5:3 For when
they shall say,
Peace and
safety; then sudden
destruction
cometh upon them,"
Seal 2-4 there is
a problem with the traditional way of
interrupting them. The colors red,
black, and pale as war, famine, and
death is actually fulfilled in the pale
horse, not the three horses.
For we read in
|
"(Rev 6:7,8 KJV)
And
when he had opened the fourth
seal, I heard the voice of the
fourth beast say, Come and
see. And I looked, and behold
a pale horse: and his name
that sat on him was Death, and
Hell followed with him. And
power was given unto them over
the fourth part of the earth,
to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death,
and with the beasts of the
earth." |
We see the
words sword which
standees for war
and
the word hunger which
is famine,
and
the
word death which
is death. So you can see that
the pale horse is war and famine and
death not the red one and the black one.
So lets look at who they are and what
they do.
Seal two
the red horse, its rider is the
Dragon, Satan. Satan shows up in the
middle of the tribulation when he is
cast out of heaven, by Michael
and his angels. We read in
|
"Rev 12:12 Woe to the
inhabiters of the earth
and of the sea! for the devil
is come down unto you, having great
wrath, because he
knoweth that he hath but a
short time."
|
Satan has great wrath
the opposite of peace. We read in
|
"Rev 6:4 And there went
out another horse that was
red: and power was
given to him that sat
thereon to take
peace from the earth, and that
they should kill one
another: and there was
given unto him a great
sword." |
The
Antichrist under the power, authority
of Satan commits the abomination of
desolation,
|
"Rev 13:2 the dragon gave
the beast
his power, and his
seat, and great
authority." |
Seal
three the black
horse, its rider is the false Prophet.
This rider "had a pair
of balances in his hand Rev
6:5" The false prophet
has power over economics system of the
world, under the Antichrist. We read
in
|
"Rev 13:16,17
And
he causeth
all, both small
and great, rich and poor,
free and bond, to receive
a mark in their
right hand, or in their
foreheads: And that no man
might buy or sell, save he
that had the mark, or the
name of the beast, or the
number of his name."
|
|
" 2 Cor
11:14,15 And no
marvel; for Satan
himself is transformed into an angel of
light.
Therefore
it
is no great thing if
his ministers
also be transformed
as the ministers of
righteousness; whose end
shall be according to their
works." |
Seal four the
pale
horse, its rider is the people of the
beast, the ten kings.
|
"Rev 6:8 And power was
given unto them
over the fourth part of the
earth, to kill with sword,
and with hunger,
and with death,
and with the beasts
of the earth".
We see power was given them in
"Rev
17:12
the ten horns which thou
sawest are ten kings, which have received
no kingdom as yet; but receive
power
as kings one hour with the
beast." |
They receive power for a short
time 3½ years, and in
|
"Dan 9:26
... and the people of
the prince that shall come
shall destroy the city and the
sanctuary; and the end
thereof shall be with a
flood, and unto the end
of the war desolations
are determined". |
We see in
these passages that the people of the
prince, that is the people of the
Antichrist, will destroy the city in
war. The people of the Antichrist, the
ten kings are at war. they come on the
seen in the middle of the tribulation.
They pursue the Jews, the woman.
|
"Rev
12:15
And the serpent
cast out of his
mouth water as a flood after the
woman, that he
might cause her to be carried away
of the flood". |
God said he
would
|
"Zec
14:2,3
For I
will gather all
nations against Jerusalem to
battle; and the city
shall be taken, and the
houses rifled, and the women
ravished; and half of the
city shall go forth into
captivity, and the residue
of the people shall not be
cut off from the city.
Then shall the LORD go
forth, and fight
against those nations, as when he fought in
the day of
battle". |
We
see that after the Antichrist commits
the abomination of desolation, and the
attack on Jerusalem. That God goes out
and fights like he did "in
the day of battle", that is
like he did with Moses
and Aaron, they brought the plagues on
Egypt.
Now we have looked at the
first four Seal, the four horse men.
What will God dot to them?
"Zec
12:3,4 And
in that day will I make Jerusalem
a burdensome stone for all people:
all that
burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of
the earth be gathered together
against it. In
that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every
horse with
astonishment, and
his
rider with madness: and
I will open mine eyes upon the
house of Judah, and will smite
every horse of the people with
blindness.
Zec 14:12,13 And
this shall be the plague
wherewith the LORD will smite
all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away
while
they stand upon their feet, and
their eyes shall consume away in their holes,
and their tongue shall
consume away in their
mouth. And it shall
come to pass in that day, that a
great tumult from the LORD shall
be among them; and they shall lay hold
every one on the hand of his
neighbour, and
his hand shall rise up against
the hand of his neighbour."
Now
lets
look at the last three seal.
Seal five
is the martyrs,
|
"Rev 6:9 And
when he had opened the fifth
seal, I saw under the altar the souls of
them that were slain for the word
of God, and for the
testimony which they held:" |
This is
the beginning of the great tribulation
that goes for the last 3½ years,
during this time the Jews and Christians
are being martyred for their faith. We
read in
|
"Rev
12:17
And the dragon was
wroth with the
woman, and went to
make war with the remnant of
her seed, which keep
the commandments of God, and
have the
testimony of Jesus Christ." |
and we
read in
|
"Rev
12:11
And they overcame
him by the blood of the
Lamb, and by the word of
their testimony; and they loved not
their lives unto the death." |
Seal six
is God and he is pouring
out his wrath,
|
"Rev
6:12
And I beheld when
he had opened the sixth
seal, and, lo,
there was a great
earthquake;
and the sun
became black as sackcloth
of hair, and the moon became
as blood;". |
This
verse give us a quick over view of some
of the wrath of God and in verses 13-15
the rest of the over view. Then it says
in verse 16
|
"
And said to the mountains
and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from
the face of him
that sitteth on the throne, and from the
wrath
of
the Lamb:" |
The people
on earth are hiding from the face of
God.
Seal
seven is Jesus, all we
have to go on is
|
"Rev
8:1
And when he had
opened the seventh seal,
there was silence in
heaven about the space of
half an hour." |
Then the word goes into the seen of the
seven trumpets, and at this time in the
time line of events all the trumpets are
done. I believe seal seven which come at
the end of the great tribulation and
after vials of Gods wrath, must stands
for Jesus and his return for that is the
nixed thing in line to come.
|
"Rev
19:11
And I saw heaven
opened, and behold a white horse; and
he
that sat upon him was called
Faithful and True, and in
righteousness he doth judge
and make war." |
