The Exodus, Succoth Encamped in Etham



The children of Israel journeyed from Succoth and pitched in Etham, the location of Etham is not known, what is agreed on is the wilderness that has it name.

(Exo 13:20 KJV)
And they took their journey from Succoth and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.


(Num 33:6 KJV)
And they departed from Succoth and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.



Etham = May be another name for Khetam,
or
"FORTRESS"

 

The wilderness

 of Etham

is located on

the East side

 of the

  Bitter Lakes.

 

Etham is believed to been located

at the top

or bottom

of the lakes.

The North end of the Lake is about a days walk,

 the bottom is about two days, from Succoth.
